RIVERS FOOTBALL REFEREES COUNCIL FELICITATE WITH CHAIRMAN EMERITUS ON HIS MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY

The Chairman, River State Football Referees Council, Mr. Dima Dennis Charles has reiterated the need for married couples to live in love and understanding for God’s divine blessings.

Mr. Dima Dennis Charles who made the assertion during the marriage anniversary, thanksgiving ceremony of their colleague, High Chief Nathan Onumajuru at the Salvation Army Church, Aggrey Road, Port Harcourt last Sunday said when the couple believed in God, he will surely take them to greater heights in life.

According to him, High Chief Onumajuru who is also the chairman emeritus of the council noted that as football referees council, they are proud of his exemplary lifestyle, co-operation and submission to each other, enjoining other couples to let love prevail in their marriages.

He described the occasion as wonderful and worth celebrating, as he prayed God and believed that He who had started good things in their lives will take it to the end to his glory.

In his speech, the Commanding Officer, Port Harcourt central corps of The Salvation Army, 103 Aggrey Road, Major Peace Ikpatt admonished Christians to always appreciate God’s deliverance and faithfulness in their lives.

Major Ikpatt noted that the family of High Chief Onumajuru had made it an annual celebration, but that this year’s occasion was special as God delivered them from accident and foiled an attempt to kidnap his wife, Lolo Calista Nathan Onumajuru, and prayed for God’s guidance, protection and blessing of the family.

Also speaking, the Town Union Chairman of Umuonyekwu in Ikeduro, Imo state, Hon Ifeanyi Anusiem thanked God for the lives of the celebrants for maintaining their vow with God, appealing to other Christians to emulate them of having a covenant thanksgiving with their families.

In his remarks, High Chief Onumajuru expressed gratitude to God for his blessings and deliverance of his wife from kidnappers, pointing out that it is a special thanksgiving and prayed God to continue to bless and keep his family together to His glory.
