Sponsor of the CIO international golf tournament Chief Ikenna Okafor says he is working towards making the Championship a global tour


The Chief executive officer of  Keves Global limited Chief Ikenna Okafor made this known during the flag hoisting of  participating countries at the sixth edition of the CIO international golf championship at the Python international golf club in  Porthacourt



The seasoned Philanthropist said the championship is now the biggest golf tournament in the West African region, adding that the Safari tour  is now part and parcel of the championship and gradually it will soon become a global tour where the professional golfers will be competing for the prize money of one million dollars.



Chief Ikenna Okafor who also sponsors table tennis, Tennis, Football and a lot of other sports however called on the professional golfers especially Nigeria pros to concentrate on their game and embrace discipline themselves so as to be great and achieve success in their golfing career.

According to him, as a professional golfer you have to be neat and avoid drinking too much.


Drinking too much alcohol would make  you lose focus and sponsors in particular wont also take  you seriously"said  Chief Ikenna Okafor with finality
