PGAN Tournament Director: Johnbull Dangofa 

Tournament director of Professional golfers Association of Nigeria Johnbull Dangofa has showered encomium on the sponsor of the CIO international golf championship Chief Ikenna for keeping the sport on stream among the pros in West Africa and other parts of the continent 

Johnbull Dangofa in an interview with  Barry Global news  Commended the sponsor and life vice president of the Professional golfers association of Nigeria Chief Ikenna Okafor  for the giving the PGAN a listening ear and increasing the prize money for the winner to  twenty thousand dollars.

Johnbull Dangofa,  a seasoned golf administrator in the Niger Delta noted that the Professional golfers Association of Nigeria is a work in progress, adding that the organization has gained international recognition over the years .

He added that the Safari tour which is the biggest tournament in Africa are coming to participate in the tournament which according to him will serve as a moral booster to young golfers  who recently turned pro.

He enthused that the CIO golf championship will offer  the young pros the opportunity to compete with the best on the continent of  Africa and earn money which is a huge incentive and motivation to their golfing career.
