The Super eagles of Nigeria will today in South Africa battle Lesotho in a make or mar world cup qualifier
The eagles whose hope of qualifying for the world cup is now hanging on the balance must win the tie today if they must remain on course of qualifying for the 2026 world cup
Super eagles head coach Eric Chelle at a pre-match press conference in South Africa said the team is focused on securing the maximum three points and will give their all in achieving the task
On his part , Super eagles captain William Troost Ekong said the team is battle ready to grab the maximum three points, adding though Lesotho are not pushing over
The eagles skipper said all hands must be on deck to ensure the team secure the three points,saying the team will not give up until it's all over.
The eagles will later on Tuesday take on the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in the last world cup qualifying match in Uyo.
The team led by Eric Chelle will be looking forward to winning both matches while hopping on South Africa to slump in the remaining two games left on the card in order to book the ticket to the 2026 world cup .
