Rivers athletes and coaches at the Rivers state sports council will be at the Government House in Porthacourt welcome government Similaiyi Fubara after six months of emergency rule in Riversstate 


Rivers state Basketball coach Fubara Onyanabo made this known via statement made available to our correspondent 


He said governor Similaiyi Fubara has been very supportive to grassroots sports development and they are obliged to give the governor a rousing welcome back to office 


He said the athletics miss the governor dearly and are very happy and elated that he is back to office
