NATIONAL TEQBALL CHAMPIONSHIP holds In ABIA STATE,
The Nigerian Teqball family will return to Abia State for the 2025 World Teqball Championship Qualifiers slated for Aba Sports Club, Aba, Abia State, October 15th to 18th, 2025 from 9:00 am daily.
A total of 13 Referees, 18 Coaches, 66 Athletes (23 females and 43 male) among others from eighteen (18) States in the six (6) geo-political zones of Nigeria are set to participate in the Federation's flagship event for the year 2025.
Winners in the five (5) categories available: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mix Doubles will represent Nigeria at the 2025 World Teqball Championship slated for Europe in December, 2025.
The participating States in the championship already approved by the International Federation of Teqball, FITEQ are: Abia, Niger, Ondo, Jigawa, Rivers, Oyo, Anambra, Delta, Imo, Enugu, Gombe, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Edo, Kwara, Bayelsa, Plateau and Kogi.
The Nigerian Teqball Federation, NIGTEQ is grateful to His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR, Executive Governor of Abia State for hosting the championship for the second year which has gone a long way in the development of the sport of Teqball in the state and Nigeria at large.
