The  2025 edition of the Porthacourt amateur open golf championship will come to end tomorrow (12th of October, 2025) with  sponsors ranging from platinum,  gold, silver and bronze competing in their various categories with Amateur golfers who qualified for the final day of the tournament 


Competition secretary of  Porthacourt club golf section Ordinance Emeji who made this known in an exclusive chat with sportsmaster said the tournament will remain memorable in the annals of the golf section given the side attractions, entertainment and comedians expected to perform during the closing ceremony and presentation of Prizes to the winners in various categories

He said the tournament organizing committee led by its chairman Chukwunonso Orajaka has been working round the clock to ensure that participants and guests players have a wonderful and swell time through our duration of the tournament.


Ordinance Emeji who is fondly called naked wire said the committee is going to stage a white party during the tournament to ensure that golfers enjoy themselves, have fun and merriment, adding that every logistics have been put in place to give golfers a memorable outing by the tournament organizing committee.



The  former Chief of staff , Porthacourt city local government area advised all participants at the tourney to turn up in their white and white outfit to the white as the closing ceremony promises to be exciting and fun are


He said the closing ceremony will commence by 6pm and asked all participants and guests to turn out en mass for the white party.
