he flying eagles of Nigeria will later today lock horns with Argentina in the FIFA u-20 world cup of round of 16 taking place in Chile.

The flying  eagles of Nigeria who qualified as best losers from group F with four points have an uphill task against Argentina who won all their matches in the group stages in a tie considered the clash of titans.

The duel is a rematch of the last edition of the tournament where Nigeria edged past the South Americans 2-0 before exiting the tourney in the quarter final stage.

A win for Nigeria will take the Coach Aliyu Zubair tutored side to the last eight.

Nigeria has been runners up on two occasions in the competition and are looking forward to surpass that feat by winning the tournament, a feat Ghana achieved in 2009 in Egypt

But will have the Argentina to contend with which is no doubt a Herculean task as the South Americans posed a serious threat to the flying eagles quest of winning the competition.
