Ahoada East council boss sponsors NYSC cup

 

      Executive Chairman ,Ahoada East local government council; Solomon Abuba Ochoma 

10 platoon lifted the giant football trophy as well as 'salivating' cash prize that went it courtesy of the youthful, sports-loving Executive Chairman of Ahoada East LGA, Hon Solomon Abuba Ochoma.

In a pulsating, rainsoaked football final, 10 platoon edged 4 platoon 6 - 5 on penalties to clinch the golden diadem.

In a remark, Hon. Ochoma, represented by his Special Assistant on Sports and Nysc Matters, commended the Corps Members for their "discipline, skills, and fighting spirit," which made the final attractive and worthy to behold.

He used the occasion to assure the Scheme of the commitment of his administration to partner NYSC at all times in making the stay of Corps Members in the camp and Ahoada East "exciting, memorable, and meaningful."

In a remark, the Rivers State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe appreciated the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East for "identifying strongly with the Corps
