2027: Governor Fubara will rule for eight years-Dangofa -
Johnbull Dangofa
Worried by the incessant and unabated political crisis in Rivers state, a grassroots politician in the state , Johnbull Dangofa has taken a swipe at members of the Rivers state House of Assembly and 23 local government council chairmen for boycotting governor Similaiyi Fubara recent thanksgiving program
Johnbull Dangofa who is the political godson of former president Goodluck Jonathan described the state lawmakers and the 23 council chairmen in Rivers state as politicians who don't mean well for Rivers people
The seasoned sports administrator cum Politician however asked the people of Rivers state to stop relying on those he termed as fake politicians who are only after their personal interests and thereby neglecting what concerns the well being of Rivers people to the background, adding that nothing good will come of them.
Johnbull Dangofa, the president of talented sports men and women in the state further called on governor Similaiyi Fubara to concentrate on delivering the dividends of democracy to Rivers people and shun those with the tendencies to create unnecessary distractions for his administration and acting the script of their pay master who wants him to fail .
He expressed joy at the return of Governor Similaiyi Fubara back to office after the expiration of the six months emergency rule which has an ugly toll on the economy of Rivers state .
Johnbull Dangofa who hailed from Asari Toru local government area also boasted that governor SIm will return for a second term in office, adding that nobody or any power drunk politician will be to dictate to Rivers people what to do in 2027
According to him, Rivers people will take their destiny into their hands and ensure Governor SIM returns for the second time in office.
My advice to the State House of Assembly members is this ,let them concentrate on initiating bills that will be of huge benefit to Rivers people instead of engaging in unnecessary squabble with the governor.
The Tournament director of PGAN who was recently in Abuja to protest against the suspension of governor Similaiyi Fubara from office during the period of the emergency rule in River state opined that all hands must be on deck in moving the state forward
He appealed to the FCt minister Nyesom Wike to use his office to attract projects to Rivers state that will affect the lives of those at the grassroots, saying that Rivers people should be bold enough to say that their son is the FCT minister
