World cup qualifiers: injury rules out Victor Oshimen from South Africa match

Victor Oshimen leaving the pitch after sustaining injury against Rwanda yesterday

Super eagles of Nigeria will be without the services of talismanic striker Victor Oshimen in the crucial world cup qualifier against South Africa on Tuesday.

This followed the injury the Galatasaray forward copped in the last match against Amavubis of Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo yesterday.

The absence of the former Napoli forward is huge blow to the eagles who needs all their key players going into the match against South Africa, which is a must win tie  for Nigeria to keep the country 's world cup hope alive .

Super eagles head coach Eric Chelle will now  be relying on  Tolu Arokodari or Cryril Dressers to bang in the goals for Nigeria in the absence of Victor Oshimen
